Untuk memahami peranan, tugas dan tanggungjawab Pengarah Projek, Pegawai yang dinamakan dalam Kontrak, Kontraktor dan Perunding. Memberi penjelasan berkenaan hak dan obligasi yang perlu/boleh diambil oleh PP dan Kontraktor selaras dengan syarat-syarat kontrak. Untuk mempelajari perkara-perkara penting yang wajib ada sebelum pemilikan tapak bina dan memulakan kerja seperti Bon Perlaksanaan / Wang Jaminan Perlaksanaan, Insuran Kerja dan pekerja serta SOCSO. Untuk menjelaskan kepentingan Dokumen Kontrak, Analisa Harga Kontrak dan Perlarasaan Harga Kontrak. Untuk mempelajari kaedah dan pengurusan bayaran-bayaran dalam pembinaan, tuntutan kos dan lain-lainselaras dengan Akta CIPA 2012 termasuk bayaran kepada perunding. Untuk mempelajari prosidur bagi perlantikan Perunding Kontraktor, tangungjawab Kontraktor dan Perunding dan penggunaan peruntukan sementara. Mempelajari pengurusan perubahan kerja, prosidur dan bayaran serta implikasi terhadap kontrak Mempelajari aspek-aspek Pemilikan Tapak, Kelewatan Kerja dan Lanjutan Masa serta alasan-alasan yang membolehkan kepada lanjutan masa serta implikasi kepada kontrak. Memahami jenis-jenis penyiapan kontrak dari Penyiapan Keseluruhan, Penyiapan Separa dan Pendudukan Separa Memahami tempoh Penyelenggaraan, Skop dan Bayaran Memahami dan mempelajari aspek penangguhan kerja dan penamatan kontrak, terutama keadaan yang membenarkan peruntukan dan implikasi serta prosidur.
